Personal Portrait Sessions: What to Know
The short version: Personal sessions — families, couples, seniors, boudoir, private events — are for you: to print, share, gift, and keep. They're licensed for personal use, not business or advertising.
This covers the personal side of my work — the sessions that exist to give you images you'll love: your family on the wall, your kid's senior year, a private boudoir set that's just yours, an anniversary, a small celebration.

Here's what's worth knowing before you book.
What "personal use" means
Your images are yours to enjoy, fully:
Print them - any size, as often as you like.
Share them with family and friends.
Post them to your own personal social accounts.
Gift them.
What they're not licensed for is business or commercial use… promoting or selling a product or service, advertising, or professional/model marketing. That's not me being stingy; commercial use is a genuinely different job for a photo, with its own license. How that works →
So if an image from your personal session is ever going to help sell or promote something — you start a business, a senior heads into modeling, a relative wants a portrait in their company's marketing — just tell me. We'll sort out the right license. Easy conversation. It just isn't automatic.
A full family session vs. a mini session
These get confused a lot, so here's the honest difference:
A full session is the real thing — time to settle in, possibly more outfits or locations, a full range of posing, and a large gallery to choose from. It's for when you want variety and images worth building a wall around.
A mini session is a short, single-setup slot — one look, a small handful of images, tied to specific dates or locations.
Deciding between them? A mini is a snack. A full session is the meal. See more about mini sessions →
What you get with your personal portrait session
Every image in full high resolution — no "web versus print" tiers.
A private online gallery to view, download, and share from.
Full editing on every image, plus detailed retouching on some of your favorites. Want something specific softened or removed? Ask me — that's what retouching is for, never a phone app →.

Boudoir & Privacy
Boudoir deserves its own line: your images are private. I don't share, post, or publish boudoir work anywhere without your explicit written permission. The gallery is yours, and what happens to it is entirely on your terms… never assumed. If you ever want an image shared, that's your decision to make, in writing.
